Yup, I was just doing what the supervisor was telling me to do and trying to take a few pictures at the same time. The only tools we had for assembling the entire gun were a couple of punches, a ball peen hammer, a pair of needle nose pliers, an assembly block, and that tool with the hook on the end. After digging out my gun this evening and looking at it, I'm pretty sure the hook tool was used on the lower portion of the gun not the slide. So, however we did it, we did it with one or a combination of the tools listed above.![]()

Just yanking your chain. I thought they might have taught you some secret technique for putting that extractor assembly together.
Our Government is borrowing money to pay interest on money they have already borrowed. What would you tell your kids, if they were doing that?
Really enjoyed this! When is it my turn for the tour?
What models do they make here in the USA now? I see the PT2011 and TCP is made in USA.
Great job. The plant is how it has to be for a top gun maker. I think they are focused in the right direction and soon we will have a more reasons to be a proud Taurus product owners. They already dropped the bomb with Jessie Harrison-Duff, but I feel there is more to come. BTW ,is she from GA!?

Wow - very cool, thanks for sharing!
Ya know, I REALLY wish I had read this thread before I launched my introduction thread the other day.
Damned nice.
If woodworking was an addiction, they'd never let me out of rehab.
Great article with very good photos! It really appealed to me because I just received my TCP738 from being repaired at their plant two days ago, this provided an insight to the repair process and testing I was wondering about but now know how much care and concern Taurus places on their customer's satisfaction.
