Thanks for the report of the tour. It is not often a company will open there doors to the inner workings of there business.

Wow, Fantastic tour and insight into a modern manufacturing facility!! I own three of their products and couldn't be more pleased. Have never had to send one back. My son bought the new top-break .22 pistol for his wife and she loves it. Any company that allows the type of full-blown tour that Big Skiff and Airwrench got has got to be top shelf. Kudo's to the new management. Now if I could only get a straight answer as to why Tauris stopped producing the M-327, I will be most elated!!!! Semper-fi Mike in NC

Thanks for a great write-up and insight into the Taurus operation.

I'm surprised they let you take photos inside the facility. Also surprised they actually make guns here in the USA. I thought they were made in Brazil and just distributed through the Florida location.

I've owned many Taurus autos and revolvers. Had good luck with a majority of them but still had more problems with them then any other brand I've owned so far. Hope that will change as they are a innovative company.

Thanks for the tour and write-up. I am truly impressed by the facilities in FL. After seeing this, I am thinking I need to add a .380 to my collection. If my wife didn't already have a Beretta 21A I might desire a PT-22 for her.
I am so proud to be a small part of this group. Where else can you get such an in-depth look at a manufacturer and insights as to the improvements that have been made and where they are headed? I am looking forward to the addition of the online catalog to order parts and accessories. Exciting times ahead!

Absolutely unreal! That would be the tour of a lifetime! Sort of like when I toured the Learjet factory when I lived in Kansas -- but a lot more fun!

    Availibility of Taurus Model 992

Hello - I have had a Taurus Model 992 on order from my local firearms dealer for over two months now. He tells me that they are waiting for a manufacturing run at Taurus for this model. Anyone have any idea when this might be or how to find out? Regards, Tallgoat

I meant to ask this before but it slipped my mind, when you guys assembled the 738, was there a special tool for installing the extractor assembly?
Our Government is borrowing money to pay interest on money they have already borrowed. What would you tell your kids, if they were doing that?
