THis is awesome and thank you for doing a first class job of this presentation. Glad to hear that some of their people visit the site. Some time back when there was a issue with the CS dept I wrote to Mr Morrison and suggested that they peek in on the TA site. I never heard back but based on the many changes reported on this site by the members. Your tour report also proves that better things are on the way. Thanks for your report and thanks to TA for being the best source of information and entertainment..

That was a most impressive information gathered and shared with fellow mebers about Taurus. I am glad I have a Taurus FA and know that this are made by competent people that care a great deal about their products and services. A salute to Taurus management and staff and to BigSkiff and Airwrench for taking the time to share the information with the members. A job well done!

Ha! Yeah, the folks in the receiving department were telling us that people ship guns back wrapped in blankets and tape, other companies gun boxes, soft cases, or just tossed into a box three times as big as the gun with no packing. Someone obviously sent their Tausus back in a Smith case.

'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.' Thomas Jefferson

Thank you for a well written and photographed behind the scenes look at Taurus International.
I bet you will never forget the time you spent there and it looks like you had lots of fun. I have
a greater appreciation for the hard work and the knowhow that keeps those Taurus firearms we
love so much firing time after time. It is great to know that Taurus is keeping up with and
surpassing in some cases the other gun manufacturers out there. Like you, I am pleasantly
surprised at how clean and orderly the plant is and its good to know that everyone there
wants to make the customer happy when he buys a Taurus firearm.

I have a Ruger 22/45 MK III and can strip and reassemble in under 5 hours now that I have grown more proficient at this process. Thanks Ruger for coming up with the take down lever on the back strap.... let's see. Hold barrel up so that little internal part flops down, Insert mag and pull trigger, remove mag.... err, never mind, I have to look at the directions again.

    I can't back that up..

I do believe I can strip and reassemble a Ruger MKII faster than most. But that does not
translate into building a pistol full of parts I can barely see.

First, whew, what a relief, now I don't have to worry about getting one of those pistols assembled by you two.

Second, did they put all the left over parts back in before they sent them to you?

Third, I don't care anything about Clarence or Terrence, I want to see a picture of the lady with the sweet voice in Customer Service who has been taking such excellent care of us. If we send a pistol back for repair should we mention that we are members of TaurusArmed.net?

Fourth, did you ask about why no email gets through, and if they intend to fix that?

Fifth, is the PT-1911 extractor a MIM part, or not. Someone please answer that question so we can put it to bed!

Sixth, OMG, a plant tour and a free sample! You lucky devils.

Madre Dios! What a wonderful report. Great, great pictures and splendid writing. This is the best and most revealing production I've read about Taursus, guns, maufacturing, repair, records-keeping and everything else. I like the attitude of the company offficers. I congratulate the forum members who took the time and made the effort to inform all us customers.

Thank you, gentlemen, thank you very much.
