At the range with my PT1911

Went shooting today with some friends. One of the guys I had meet but don't know him well. He was shooting a beautiful Kimber. He looked at me with a big grin and asked me if I wanted to try it. I said sure and handed him my Taurus to try. He gave it and me the look,(you all know the one) and we both ran through a couple of mags. When we exchanged back, his grin was gone. I gave him the look. (you all know the one) It was a great day at the range!
    Old age isn't for pansies!!

Due to the rising cost of ammo. A warning shot will NOT be fired!!

Yup know that look too well.

Anyone I tell it's a Taurus they give a look ... Until they shoot the damn thing and have a different opinion on them. Then they usually don't know that Taurus even makes a 1911. And then ya entertain them some more in telling the price you pay for them. Oh and THEN THEY WANT A FRICKIN ONE !!!!! Love it tho....

    I do love the look!

I'm guessing here...but is this "the look" you gave the guy when he passed your PT1911 back to you?

    Or perhaps...this look?

Typically most all know me at the range that i belong to.
but every once in while the 2 Taurus that usually surprize people is my Duo-tone, most have never seen any duo-tone much less a Tauurs, and the Stainless 38 Super, its kind of unusual in the stainless that i have seen as its not a dull but its not the miror finish either.
the flats are pretty glossy but not mirror but the rounds are satin stainless.
these 2 weapons are the 2 smoothest of my taurus as well so they normally make a statement of the brand.
