Update, my new trigger came inpics added above.
Sorry! just a place holder
Being as I can't leave well enough alone, I ordered a new trigger from Brownells. It shipped today! I can't wait to get it installed
I am really mostly changing my trigger for looks. But, I decided to change the LOP - going with a medium, and the face of the trigger is smooth.
**Update** well my order came in Saturday, and I fitted my new trigger this morning
Although, I really liked my previous Chip McCormick trigger. I think this new one will grow on meIt's a Harrison design and consulting, medium LOP with smooth face and a fixed, blind overtravel screw(file down to fit). Fitting wasn't as easy as the Chip McCormick that just slipped right in
/ This new one required filing of the trigger shoe top and bottom, and filing of the trigger bow and overtravel screw. The medium length feel better, as does the smooth face.

I don't really care for the solid trigger but the way you have this gun dressed
it fits well. I actually think the solid trigger is the best one for your gun.
Nice looking 1911 for sure..![]()

I actually think new trigger looks nicer than the stock one and definitively nicer than the one you had before. Btw what hammer is that? did it require fitting?
Go your way now, go with God, bag full of guns…

Thank's, the hammer is an Ed Brown Hardcore hammer, hammer strut, and hammer strut pin.
Its slipped right in. The only thing you will need to do, is stake the hammer strut pin.

Did you replace the god-awful ambi-safety yourself ? I have been putting off getting mine replaced but since I don't carry the PT1911 in concealed carry I haven't worried about it.

Question time if I may. Did you refinish the gun or have it done? Looks good in all black. Trigger is different, but not bad at all. I like it.
