    PT1911SS

I purchased a PT1911DT and love it. I was thinking of getting a PT1911SS I was at the gun store looking at it and noticed that the rear sight has that single dot. My DT has the 2 dot rear. So my question is does the SS only come that way or does newer ones come with 2 dot rear sights. I don't like the single dot type.

The current PT-1911s all come with Novak style sights (two rear dots). The older production guns came with Heine 8 sights (single rear dot).  The change was made sometime early this year, I think.

Do you want to trade? I like the single dot? Shoot me a pm if you are interested.

    Re: PT1911SS

    I like the Straight Eights.

Some people can't adjust to them, but for me I find them very fast and an excellent combat type sight.
If not us, then who? If not now, then when?
