PT1911 Used $100.00 Less Than New Price?!?!?!?!

Saw a Stainless PT1911 for $100.00 less than the new ones. Can't remember the actual price but it was something like $559.00 and the new one next to it was like $659.00.

I could not tell the difference between the two and thought they were both new. I don't have the money, however they have the sweetest layaway in the world... 10 months! I have a PT845 and never have owned a 1911 style pistol. I was going to wait for the new PT1911HC with 12+1 rounds, but.....

wow sounds like you might have a pretty good deal especially for a stainless. I know the pawnshop here in town won't GIVE you anything for a Taurus b/c Academy sells them so cheap but they will charge you an arm and a leg for one though

I paid 599.00 +tax and fees in November, got my 75.00 rebate off of that price. The SS hasn't been out all that long, so it is probably a lightly used weapon. I really like mine and am glad I "pulled the trigger". (Groan)

Make sure the gun dealer will warrantee the gun to work on your first range trip, or that he will make it good so you don't have to deal with CS. I'm always suspect of nearly new used guns, as you may be buying someone elses recent problem.
