PT 1911 SS Extractor Not Flush With Frame

I just purchased a new PT1911 SS and noticed that the extractor is not flush with the frame. It is indented just a bit on cornrer and a little bit cock-eyed. I've 100 rouds through it so far and the only problem I had was chambering the first round of the Taurus 8 rd magazine which I hear is a magazine problem and is common with the magazine's. Other than that the gun functions great.

My question is does anyone elses PT1911 have a similar observation with the extractor? Is this something I should worry about?
This is my second PT1911 and my other has the extractor flush with the frame.

Re: PT 1911 SS Extractor Not Flush With Frame

Can you take a pic of what you are asking? I am trying to picture by looking at mine what you are talking about and I'm at a loss... There is a bit of a space between my extractor and frame though...

If it is working well and brass is not hitting you in the head every other round I would say it is fine... If it aint broke.......... dont fix it
