So you are now a month later. You said you may respray it, have you? How is it holding up for you? I'm planning on using duracoat on a P3AT soon and will use their shake and spray system. No air brush needed...

The duracoat is holding up great. I havent shot it much though because of an ejector that needs to be repinned. I do plan on re-spraying it as soon as I can get that replaced. Everyone I've showed it to has said that the gun looks great and doesn't need to be sprayed again, but I'm to critical of my own work. I'm not happy with some of the handling marks I caused before the duracoat was fully curred. I sprayed in way to cold of climate which caused for longer than normal curring time.
I have heard mixed reviews on the spray and paint method. Some have had great results and some have said it sprayed un even and had a weak spray. Those who said that may not have used enough reducer. I figured I play it safe and use the compressor/airbrush method.
