So when I bought a new pt111, two years ago, I cleaned it with some type of household cleaning product (I know, silly me). The cleaner partially stripped the finish off of the manual safety, slide release and one of the take-down levers.

It's a stainless slide G2. Outside the parts mentioned, the pistol still looks brand new. Still, the partially stripped pieces have bothered me for a long time and I want to know if there is a way I can fix the problem by either turning the parts back black, or completely striping them.

    Help?

My pistol is a pretty girl with acne. I want to get her skin cleared up.

You can finish stripping them, then cold blue. <-- it's not the best or longest lasting finish, but it does work well.

Since they are so small, a gun blue pen would probably work.

Used this on my Scotty Cameron putter years ago when it started to rust. Super easy and the new blue finish has held up well.

I have had good luck touching up with Casey's Super Blue. Don't strip. Apply to the affected parts, rinse, apply again till it matches. Use Q tip. Also works on parked finishes.

If you can afford a Scotty Cameron putter, you should have just sent it in and had the company plate it with 22k gold.

Black permanent Sharpie. Works well. Be sure you clean the parts well before
applying. Re-coating in the future is cheap!
