Is the Rear Sight on yours made of polymer? If so, I would just replace the Rear Sight. Either that or you can just add a layer of Epoxy to the bottom of the Rear Sight and fit it to the Slide/
My Pt945 has a loose rear sight. It can be moved very easy. It was sent in for repair of the extractor and I told them about it. They took a punch and penned the slide in front to the sight but that only helped a little it still moves. any suggestions on how to stop it from moving?
Thanks

Do you think penning the slide is the way Taurus should have tried to fix this and it did not work but they sent it back to me still loose so much for repair that took 48 days. Must say I am not pleased with that quality of service.
P.S. I do not think that is the way to treat a man that may purchase other hand guns in the future.
No, that is not the way I would have fixed it. Reference my previous post.Originally Posted by hardatwork
