That actually sounds kind of interesting to me. Do they say if this new .44 is ported or not? Any info on price?
One reason I bought the 462 was so I could load it with 38 spl. plus have more power if needed. I load the first three cylinders with 38 spl +P. If the first three rounds don't stop the thread then I obviously need something more powerful. The next three rounds are loaded with .357 magnums. Much more power without changing guns. Just keep pulling the trigger. The 44 magnum could be used the same way without having six mortar rounds go off in your face.

HE thinks, therefore I am! <><
Is it 6 or 5 rounds? If 5, then it's probably a Rossi version of the Tracker 44 snubby.

Rich, I have found out that the .44 mag 2" snubby is an Academy dealer exclusive, they are now in stock at some academys at least in Houston, that is why there are no pics anywhere. I spoke to an Academy salesman this morn and he said it was bad ass, and at that price they wont last long I shall be gatting mine soon.
Pics if anyone can get one would be nice.
"Do not blame Caesar, blame the people of Rome who have so enthusiastically acclaimed and adored him and rejoiced in their loss of freedom and danced in his path and given him triumphal processions. Blame the people who hail him when he speaks in the Forum of the new wonderful good society which shall now be Rome's, interpreted to mean more money, more ease, more security, and more living fatly at the expense of the industrious." -- Marcus Tullius Cicero
