Don't buy a Rossi thinking that you are going to find a bunch of grip options, because there really aren't very many. The Pachmayr Compac is really your only option.
Congrats on your acquisition of one fine-lookin' Rossi revolver!
I really like the looks of the grips.

@Photoguy, It seems that any grip designed for the original square framed S&W 36 series will work. In fact those for any J Frame, square frame should work. There are a few in addition to the used ones on the net. For "practicality" the Pachmayr grip is better than wood because they are bigger, have the finger swell, and being rubber, they won't slip in your hand. ( < < < for ME, better, anyway.) I just want some wooden ones to dress one of mine up, some.

I took my 462 to the range yesterday and had a realy good time. For me, the Rossi is just enough bigger than a Model 85 or J-Frame to allow me to get a reasonable sight picture and shoot decently. My 462 was a Gunbroker bargain and has proven to be a great find.

Bought a 35102 a few weeks ago. .38 +P model 2" snub. Went to the range with it this past weekend and was impressed. See my range report. Rossi 35102 Range Report

I have rugers a beretta and a ria1911.But i still have to say i feel most confident with a wheel gun in my hand when it comes to sd or hd..
Having come from an auto loading back ground I didn't know or love the blessed simplicity/reliability of a revolver untill my EAA Windicator.
I now proudly own 2 M85 UL Duo-Toned .38 Specs and soon a SS Judge Public Defender.
