    327 fed mag

Does anyone here reload 327 FedMag? I have seen a few people say on other forums that you just use 32 H&R dies but some also say you cant. Wanting to make sure before starting to buy additional components. There is brass and bullets for it but...?

I have been loading it since 2009. I use a Lee 32 S&W Long die set to load Long, 32 H&R Magnum and 327 Federal Magnum. Good cartridge, I have 3 revolvers now that will take it. I found that it really shines with the heavier bullets. I cast Lyman 311316, a 115 gr. flat nose, gas checked bullet. I size to .313. Good cartridge, good guns. I do not load it down, no point in doing that, if I want down I will use 32 H&R Magnum. I found that powders in the slower range were best, 2400, A#9, H-110. I'm sure there are others but I have them on hand for many uses.

A fine caliber in my opinion!
I tried to talk the wife into a Taurus in 327 mag to replace her snubbie 38 but she didn't want to change!
No she don't know the first thing about reloading, ballistics , or projectiles??
so basically this opinion was based on expereince and first hand knowledge!-LOL
CDNN "had" a stainless 3 incher with ported barrel for about 250.00 , man what a deal!
anyway I don't reload for it so can't help you there.
I think Lee sales a 327 mag dies that can be used to reload 32 S & W, 32 H & R , but don't know if it works the other way or not.

I've been reloading for the .327 for a few months now and must say I really enjoy this caliber. I use Accurate #5 and small pistol primers. Typically pick up reloading materials from Midway. They are good on cost and the customer service has been second to none in my opinion. Shipping is unbelievably fast as well.
