Congrats on your fist batch of reloads!
I'm new to reloading as well and find that I enjoy reloading almost as much as shooting.
I don't mind telling you that I was scared s***less about going to the range with my first ever batch of reloads! I loaded up 20 rounds of 9mm. 10 each in 2 different load charges. All bullets went bang, no booms and no pffffts! All cycled the slide just fine. Actually the very first shot was in the 10 ring at 15 yards! Of course that was pure luck but all rounds did fire accurately.
I have a few details to finish on my bench but I'll have to get a photo to put in the other related post. Once again folks thanks for all the help along the way. I'm sure I will have more questions in the future.

There is an inherent pleasure to be gained by being your own ammo manufacturer and "rolling your own"! Congratulations.
You aren't alone in that tight feeling when you pull the trigger for the first time on your own round.
"Do not blame Caesar, blame the people of Rome who have so enthusiastically acclaimed and adored him and rejoiced in their loss of freedom and danced in his path and given him triumphal processions. Blame the people who hail him when he speaks in the Forum of the new wonderful good society which shall now be Rome's, interpreted to mean more money, more ease, more security, and more living fatly at the expense of the industrious." -- Marcus Tullius Cicero
Good on ya!
Yeah, first time with a cylinder (magazine, etc.) full of your own is pretty cool, and a bit of a confidence boost -- success is a pretty good thing.
Glad to hear it went well, and thanks for letting us know how it went!
I have reloaded thousands for competition and it is always a good feeling when
you make it through a match without any ammo issues.
Reloading is fun.

Good job!
Thank you, to all who serve; past, present and future. It is people, like you, who are willing to serve that have made this a great nation. I pray for your safety, your family, and the leaders that make decisions that affect you. I will always pray for and respect the office of the President of the United States, I don't have to like the person elected. Until HE comes, or calls me home, here by the power of Christ I'll stand.

Yeah, it is a bit nerve-racking the first time, but if you have done everything the way you are supposed to, it works out great! Congratulations and welcome to the Grand Reloaders Fraternity!

amazingly simple process that makes grown men squirm the first time, well if you got a lick of common sense it dioes anyway!
Just remember that reloading is a lot like riding a mororcycle, as long as you are a bit scared and concerned everything is fine, once you think you are the master is when you get road rash!-LOL

Complacency is my enemy in a lot of activities. One needs to always listen to that TINY voice!
