Where's a good place to buy bulk brass and bullets?

Looking for .45 acp brass - once fired is fine by me. I saw this place - $80 per thousand including shipping - BBR Brass. Is that a good price, or are there better places? I know I can police it up at my local range - when no one else is on the firing line - but I'm just getting ready to start reloading and I need a starter pile. And I'm not worried about small vs. large primer pockets. Same question about 200 & 230 grain lead bullets.

I have ordered .223 brass from brassmanbrass.com with no complaints. I have not loaded any pistol ammo. I personally wouldn't won't to mess with different size primer pockets. When I find something that works I stick with it. I watched a guy in a target match shoot of loose his confidence because of ammo. He had enough reloads for the match and had to use a different batch for the shoot off . It was the same ammo just loaded at different times. He was clearly shaken by this and lost the match.

I like Grand Master Bullets - Hard Cast Lead Bullets for my lead bullets. They have the cheapest price I can find in all the calibers I reload. Makes it nice for combined shipping. They use flat rate shipping so I usually order 2000-3000 rounds at a time to take advantage of it. They do not list 200 grain only 230. Can probably e-mail him to see if hes can do them. I have ordered over 5000 bullets from them and they function fine for me. Occasionaly I will get one where the lube is partially out, I just smash some back in to replace it. By the way price is $90.00 for Caliber: 45 RN ACP; Weight: 230 Grain; Diameter: .452

I've never bought brass, and just occasionally buy additional boxes of loaded ammo to replace cracked cases.

But, for bullets, I use BulletsDirect.com as they also have really good prices. Just bought 2000 bullets (200gr .44mag) for $159, shipped.

Thanks for the bullets direct recommendation Lindenwood...I just sent my order in for 2000 .40 cal bullets. Came out to be about 4 cents cheaper per round than I could find anywhere else! I need every penny saved to prove to my wife why I should be reloading!

I just placed an order for 500 cases of 44 Magnum Starline Brass at 91.50 net includes shipping. I can't find much at the range to pickup and I'll be getting new, never loaded brass at 18.30/100
