Oh,yes. It's my first PT92. Beeb watching all the others who've been having a good time with their PT92/99/100/101s and wanted the compact model for decades.

Seems like a great number of the compact models made it to Israel and are on the way back as used or already have been back as used guns.

Thank You, I've been waiting for you to wake up! I was gonna, but figured that since HE is a MOD, it should come from you instead.

    As a PT92 & 917 owner, I'm anxious to learn about these 92Cs.

All I know is I saw one for sale and like a complete idiot passed on it since I had the full size. I went back all of a day or two later and it was GONE. Go figure.

I did find this old post about the PT92c via a Google search from back in 2007 you may find interesting.

PT 917 vs. PT 92 Compact

Other than that post doesn't seem to be alot out there as to information on the 92C. Though it appears to resemble the PT917 CS very closely, the handle/grip is shorter, and the barrel maybe .25 inches shorter on the 92C (depending on various Google search information), yet the over all length is the same on the 92C and the 917CS.

I had been watching a number of the Gunbroker Auctions on the 92C and have come close to pulling the auction trigger(pun intended). But, it appears that almost all of the listing are ex overseas LE pistols and from the photos I just can't tell for sure what condition I would be purchasing.

The pics on Guns America.com are horrible. The guns are more than just scratched or the finish coming off. It looks like those guns saw hard use. Even the grips are trashed.

    Thanks for the link.

Haven't seen any at Gun broker.com in the last few days, but might have missed them.

Just wandered if anyone else out there had one. Somehow as rare as they seem to be I do not think it's a collectible.

    So QD,
Did you aquire a new 92C or did you purchase an ex out of country LE version. I have never seen one in person, though I would love to be able to and get a feel for one.

Robinsons Trading Post will usually have a few listed, however I was only able to locate one on their sitel
