Beautiful gun and nice snag!!![]()
I've got one, I love it. Wish I could find a minty one, but they're popular, aren't for sale often, and I need 24 more posts to view the classifieds here
I also like only the oldest ones, the ones without the decocker, just personal preference.
Very nice, I prefer the metal guns and I have a box of plastic guns that could..... well !!!!
U.S.A.F. (76-80), Tx CHL and LIFE MEMBER NRA
a.k.a. 2LOGICL. While I do not enjoy the misery of others, I do find comfort in it.
gunbroker has had one Israeli PT92c for a while. I would love to have one, but alas will remain content with my PT92AFS.![]()
I have a PT 92c also, though mine is a bit different than your gun. Mine, I suspect is a number of years older than your Taurus. Carried as a cop's gun for years, it is still in very good condition. If I did it right, then you should see three pix of my Taurus. I'm still looking for a deal on factory mags for this gun......
I love my pt-99, if I see a 92c locally I will snatch it up
It may interest you to know that the grips are compatable with a PT-58 decocker. I only know that after searching high and low for grips for my 58. That's that picture of my 58 you see to the left. I found a pair of grips on GB being advertised as fitting a Pt-92C, so I bought them. It's a perfect fit, except that I need to add a bigger bushing. That was just an experiment. They are in ugly condition so I don't use them. I have recently found a plastic grip maker who is making grips for my 58 and my Poly 605 357. I will be posting the results when they arrive, as nobody else is making grips for either firearm that I know of. If the results are good, you may want to consider using him for your 92C, if you ever feel like having a variety. His claim is that he can make them any color.

Pt-58 .380 decoker SS, Pt-911 9mm, Poly 605 357, FNP 40, FI Mod D .380, Remington 700 .270, CZ American 17 hmr (honey maple stock), Ruger 10/22, RIA 9mm/22TCM
I forgot to mention that the Suncraft guy that sells grips on GB out of Tiawann sold me a pair of grips for the 92C about a year ago. He will not do a custom job, but he may have another pair. He uses woods from that part of the world, redwoods, hardwoods. It's hit and miss with what he uses. You can google him "Suncraft Grips."
