No I walked into my local gun store that I have always bought my rifles and shotguns (had always done me good before) from looked a few diffrent guns and setteled on the taurus. This was the only one i could find in the area I live that was even forsale at any gun shop I went to. I thought it was a good deal. I never checked online because I like supporting the local buisnesses.
