    PT92 Prices

Is it my imagination or are the PT92 series guns going up in prices lately?
I bought a PT92-AFS for $435 couple of month's ago and now the PT92's are that much and higher and the AFS is even higher now.
I was thinking about buying another AFS and can't find one for $435 anymore.

Prices are all over the place on guns.

AFS models range from about $459 (at the discount stores) to $559 at some of the mom and pop shops.

Consider that you got yours extremely low at the price you paid. Might be hard to find another at that price.

I guess you missed the sale where they were $350 just last month. They are $499 at the same place now.

I knew about the $350 ones but they were matte gray being the Combat Model and I wanted the AFS Stainless shiny look. But now every time I think about it I almost make myself sick for not getting two of them at that price.

This is all in the last three months.

The prices don't seem to have changed much in the past few years. Either that or the PT92 that I bought 7 years ago was overpriced. I bought it back then for about $400.00. Right now, they're still somewhere between $400 - $450, depending on the finish.

I sold mine a few years ago (blasphemous actions indeed!) and I want a new one. Combat Finish, preferably. If not, Duo-Tone will suffice.

As with all sellable items, supply and demand. Here in South Dakota ,my PT92 AR/AFS was $350 out the door at a local gun store, and my PT99 AF was $275 .Another pawnshop locally has a blued PT92 AF with 4 mags and holster for $400.Compared to what you guys are posting, it seems im beating the average out here.

Edit-I noticed the OP is from Illinois. When I was last in the state on leave every handgun I saw up for sale in Lake County was between $50 and $100 more than it is here in South Dakota.I went to one shooting range/gun shop where I recall the price on a used XD9 was about $600.00 .I can easily see a PT92 running north of $450 in that place.

Here's how I look at it:

A PT92 is less money than a Glock, XD, M&P or Beretta.

I got my pt92 combat finish for $389 nib on guntrader last week. $410 or so after shipping. It was a 3 day auction that never saw a weekend, so you have to look pretty often.
