I have nothing agaist the 800 series at all, its just that i am so very pleased with my 24/7 series pistols that i see no need for them to leave my employment to be replaced with newbies.
I like the size of the 24/7 C for carry/capacity and so !!!
Let's see who among us are owners of the 800 Series pistols. If you have a 809, 840 or 845 then sound off.![]()

I have an 845. It is a really great pistol. It's shoots like a full sized pistol and carries like a compact. It is quite accurate and it has never failed to function properly. I'd highly recommend one to anyone.

'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.' Thomas Jefferson
So far I have 350 rounds through my PT845 with no problems of any kind.
When my son fired it he was so impressed he sold his PT145 in order to fund an 845. Put about 150 rounds through his new pistol on Saturday and now it's in his daily carry rotation.
Great guns - not as heavy as they look, accurate, reliable and fun to shoot.

I have my eye on the 840. It's number 3 on my list, haven't had the opportunity to handle one yet, hopefully next gun show I will see one.

@fishin, I do have the 840 and as a report...I love it, handles well and carries the same. Other than the small burr that was an easy fix I haven't had any problems out of it.
