    PT809 Range Report

On Sunday afternoon, I put 650 rounds through my 809 at a Center Axis Relock class. I posted a review of the class in the Carry Issues forum.

Anyways, the Taurus performed without a hitch. 650 rounds in 4 hours with only one misfire that discharged with the second trigger pull. The misfire was an ammo issue not a gun issue.

That's great - I haven't seen all that many range reports for the 800 series, but it's good to know that yours functions good.

Ah...it gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling to read another great range report on a Taurus pistol!

Each time I do, it reassures me that I've made the right choices by buying Taurus handguns.

650 rds in an afternoon - nice! So far, I've only run 100 rnds through my 840. Did you clean or lube at all during breaks?

No, it was clean when we started. There wasn't any time to do anything but reload mags.

I have no qualms carrying and trusting the gun.

awesome, my p07 is heading back for repair/replacement(polymer bulge, magazine drop, hammer falling to half cock at trigger pull) i may just have to trade it in for a 809 when i get it back!
