Got a Steal on a Stainless P99 AFS

Hi Folks,

Today, I got a chance to buy a not even broken in good
Taurus P99 AFS for $300.00. It still has the warranty card
and is just 6 months old.

I told him I never paid more than $300 for a gun. I guess
he was desperate for the money, because he took it,,,,?

That scared me a little, but I know who he is. He said that
the guy at AR Gun Traders offered him less than that on a
trade-in.

He wants a smaller pistol with a bigger bore for concealed
carry. How could anybody just want one gun,,,,???

I like this one for target shooting and home defense. I will
probably get a light for it at some point. I could go outside
with it and see better. Helps out here in tha sticks.





I don't think I need to worry about the pistol. I think I
got a good-un.

I found the pistol to have never been cleaned good, and
it was dry as a bone. No harm because there is just barely
enough ware so I can tell where to grease it at. After I
cleaned and greased it, it racks much more smoothly.

I shot 50 rounds of the worst and cheapest ammo I could
find and this pistol shot like a champ. I'm broke, or I would
have got more,,, lol. It has a nice low recoil and is spot on
at 50 feet. That's as far as I got.

I'm stoked on this one. Not often I get this much gun for
my money.

nice deal, looks like she was tossed around a bit though.. my 92 has been carried for 2 years and has less marks on it.

but it's not to bad, to be fair the shiney finish on these make'em a scratch magnet.

You should love it and great buy. I thought I did good with a PT92B for $399 but it appears you have beat me out.

I found a sale on ammo today and put another
175 rounds through it. I got about 225 rounds
through her now,

Very nice PT99, I'd say you definitely got a great deal on that one. Some aren't fond of the grip size of the 92/99s but I find my hands conform to them just fine.
