I've been touching mine up with a near florescent orange paint I picked up in a Hobby Shop. It takes several thin coats to build up in the sight holes, but it seems to hold up quite well to solvents. If you want to make it even more noticeable, make the top coat a gloss clear.

I had the sights come off the back of my PT101P as well, but only while I was cleaning. I used some glow in the dark paint for night sights, but it comes off if I wipe with any force over them. I am going to use some automotive touch up paint, that should hold up. The red dot on the slide where the safety is also came off. I have not had this problem with my other Taurus, wonder if it has to do with the PT101P from Academy? Did they try to save a few bucks, or what a particualar batch just not up to par? Anyway, it is an easy fix, and the gun shoots like a dream...

Same here, never had any trouble with my other Taurus pistols, but like others have said, it's an easy fix. In fact, I touched up the dots on my PT111 and it looks better to me than the original.Originally Posted by hstrymkr

I have had the glonation paint on several of my pistolas now for many months and many cleanings and it has remained in place very nicely, i have not even needed to touch it up.
I clean the sights with alcohol, dry them, put the paint on and let it dry, may apply another coat if it needs it, then apply clear nail polish over the top and its good to go.
the paint will still glow as long as the clear polish doesn't have a UV inhibitor in it.
