New PT911 owner, need ammo advice

I just purchased a PT911 9mm and I would like to know what brand of ammo any of you would recommend for it, particulary what brqand of hollow point. I know autos can be picky and I don't want to spend a lot experimenting if I can avoid it. I also want to know if I can use +p ammo in this gun. It was made in 2001 accoding to Taurus' website.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Occassional Use of +P ammo should be fine, but not necessary. Standard Pressure ammo will work just fine! Being able to put your rounds where it will do the most critical work is what is really paramount!

Remington 124 grn Gold Sabre HP's, CCI 124 grn Gold Dot HP's, Winchester Ranger 127 grn SXT HP's, Federal 124 grn HydraShok HP's or EFMJ, are all good choices. Put a box or two through your gun before carrying any of them to make sure!

    Thanks jwc007,
I agree 100+% on the shot placement. I'm going to try some Gold Sabre and HydraShoks tomorrow if I can get to the range.
