Blow-back, like the Beretta Model 84. There aren't that many locked breech .380s. The Kel-Tec P3AT, the old Colt Mustang and Government .380 lines, and the new Sig clone of the Colt line are examples of locked-breech .380s.
Does the PT58 have a locking block mechanism on the barrel like the PT92 making it a locked breech action or does it operate on straight blow back principles with a fixed barrel.

The new Micro Desert Eagle, basically just European ZVI Kevin pistol, is gas operated. There is a small angled gas port drilled into the barrel hood that blows back forward into the slide as it tries to move rearward. The videos look like its very controllable.

The recently released Walther PK380 is a locked breech .380ACP. It ought to be a good gun for people that have a hard time racking a slide. http://www.gunblast.com/Walther-PK380.htm

I was looking at a couple at the gun stores and would like one to go along with my p22. I like pocket pistols but i have a thing for bigger .380s also. The PK380 slide was really easy to operate.
I could probably rack it if I turn the rear sight around backwards, so it would catch on a belt, buckle, pocket or shoe sole ... but instead, I'll keep my PT58 and PT92
