The new range toy is done.

I posted awhile back if anyone tranformed there old pumpgun into a tactical piece. Well I got bashed by some of the old school guys, but I think things turned out pretty nice. It's been an old Mossberg 500 12 gauge that I didn't use any more. So here is the finished product. I've had it out to the range a couple of times and I can say without a dout this is alot of fun to shoot. I used ATI products for the stock and forend. I but a red dot Bushnell scope on it. This scope got great reviews. The first time out I couldn't hold it steady enough to shoot, so I went with the bipod. It all is holding up great so far. This will be an extra range toy to play with when I'm done shooting my PT809.

No reason for you to have been bashed. Anyone who wouldn't enjoy owning that shotgun has a problem!

Thanks for the good words, The guys that we're against it like the wood stock. In my case the wood was in pretty ruff shape. The new toy sure does pop hard, I can take about 10 slugs and I'm done. Glad there are some guys that like it. Happy shooting.

Well I got bashed by some of the old school guys

It may not be grandpas gun but I think your gun is great.....ignore the old skool keyboard cowboys, they are too slow to know any better, education, intelligence & IQ has surpased them and they arent even aware of it, they are set in there ways , anything that deviates from the norm they go directly to bashing...in their minds "its the internet, your all wrong Im right and I will tell you so"....by the very nature they choose to bash you on what YOU DO WITH YOUR OWN PROPERTY, tells you they are the bigoted control freaks
the older they are the more predudice they are

go visit the SKS idiots, if you do anything to your weapon they call it a "buba gun" .... a gun that buba would own....seems like high tech advancement is only for red necks named buba........hahahhaha call me BUBA

Good one, I thought it would be a bit lighter in weight. I think it's a bit heavier, the so called "Kick Stand" sure works nice off the table. I was able to hit a plinker at 100 yards. The scope isn't good for much over 50, there it's dead nut's on.
