    AR- 15 trigger upgrade

Jard has these listed for 148.00 on their website. CDNN 49.99

Looks like a great deal for anyone looking for a trigger.

I saw this and am seriously considering getting one for each of my ARs. Anybody have opinions on these? I really don't mind the weight of the stock AR trigger but, I hate how "gritty" it is.

I sold my guns because the Government says they are dangerous.

JMO i wouldn't buy a non adjustable trigger, defeats the purpose of being able to take up over travel and reset. you can fine tune the factor trigger to a degree to lighten trigger pull and smooth it out.

That is a great price, but I also agree an adjustable would be better. But any thing would be better than the Colt trigger.

So I am still debating this one. After looking at CDNN I don't see a disconnector with the trigger group. I don't know if stock will work or if one needs to be purchased from Jard. Also it doesn't say the pin size. I think I will look for another option.

My Windham Weaponry trigger is about as good as a shooter will need. Matter of fact just aboit all the internals on this rifle are top notch. Only upgrades I need are to the handguard and an optic system. I may change out the butt stock but other than that my rifle is damn near perfect.

Definitely! Jard makes great triggers, and at that price, it's a genuine steal!

Boys, think hard about a Bill Springfield trigger. It will be as good and one hundred dollars less!

I called CDNN. These are small pin sets and include all springs, trigger, hammer, and disconnector. I bought a set and will let ya'll know what I think when I get it installed.

I understand the want for a better trigger, but until the trigger is the thing holding me back from shooting better I'll keep working on the operator head-space and timing.

If you are shooting competitively or demand sub MOA groups at distance (>250m) I completely understand the want for a better trigger than the stock (hopefully mil-spec) trigger in your flavor of AR. But for me, a quick sanding of the high points on the fire control group and a lot of trigger time is my trigger improvement program.

    $150 buys 420 rounds of xm193 in a 30 cal ammo can!

I'm not a good enough shot to be able to differentiate the advantages in practice. I can see the differentiation in theory, but theory and practice are worlds apart. I'll stick to minute of man at 300m accuracy and leave all these enhancements to you boys needing MOA accuracy at >200m.
