Carolina shooters supply has both and videos on the web site for installation. You just sit the guide in place and mark the small hole in the center. The guide comes with a drill bit and a tap. drill the hole, then tap it. Be very careful with the tap. Its small and can break. You're up a creak if that happens. after you tap the hole, place the guide and screw with thread lock. Its not too hard to do.
The best video I found was on Youtube. Just search "Ed and Auston Saiga". It's a 3 part series. Even with the bullet guide though I had to dremel sand the front tabs on the AK mags to make them fit. Not sure about your rifle though.

Where did you get the parts? When I did my bullet guide I was thinking if I screw it up I'll need a whole new barrel. Luckily I didn't. Nice job by the way. Kind of fun to do things yourself.

I own a couple of Saigas in original configuration. I also have an AK jazzed up somewhat. I once figured if I configured a Saiga into an AK configuration, I would have as much or more into it than the AK. Why don't folks just start out with an AK in the beginning.

Probably because the Saiga is brand new, cheaper and as closes to a real ak as you can get.

Jake, that's a huge discussion. Arguably, the Saiga is the premier fully Russian made AK imported into the US today. Most Romy's and WASR's are poorly made from bin parts, wood furniture, have canted sights and don't have the dimpled receivers for the mags. If I can add this, XDtalk.com has much info on AK's.

Carolina Shooting Supply got quite a bit of my cash when I converted my 308 Saiga. They are a first class operation.
