On November 11, 2011 Smith & Wesson expanded it's recall of its Thompson Center Venture Rifles. This recall applies to ALL Venture rifles manufactured prior to October 28, 2011.
Smith and Wesson has identified a condition that may exist with the sear supplied with some Venture rifles that would allow the rifle to be fired without the trigger being pulled.
If you own one of these rifles please contact Smith & Wesson at their website at venturerecall@smith-wesson.com for instructions on returning these firearms.

In any type of fight, & especially gun fights, there are no winners ..... just varying degrees of losers. The only fight you win is the one you never get into.
