    Been thinking about picking one of these up. Never even thought about hunting with one. Think I may have to get one in 40 to match the new pistol I just got....

    i think they look cool. they are getting pretty popular at work(range), but i've seen 2 go up in smoke...

    You can actually make your own hi-cap magazines without to much work, word on the Hi Point forums is that they have announced the design phase of the new thirty round magazines. So hopefully they will be available by the end of 2012.

    I have their 9mm carbine other than no real good high cap mags they are accurate and GTG for sure I would love to have a carbine in the .40 for sure but no need

    30 round single stack mags? That'd be something to see. Hi point could solve alittle bit of that problem if they made the 4595 carbine take 1911 mags.

    I can't imagine having a 30 round single stack on my 995, unless i just give up on having my bipod on the front. As it sits now, my hand is only inches above the surface i'm shooting from with the factory mags, let alone tripling the capacity. Unless it's an AK style curve or some type of reliable drum (i know, oxymoron there), i would think that mag would be obtrusive.
