took a small screwdriver and poped the burr out.
    It then adjusted just fine.
Not sure how the rear sight setup is on the carbine but thought i would mention this.
The rear sight is just like the pistol, except it has the aperture instead of the notch. The thing about this Carbine Kit rear sight is the windage screw won't move at all! In either direction! I messed up two screwdrivers in the process, but the adjustment screw looks perfect and the slot is undamaged.

Oh well. That means I have three options.
    1. Call Beretta for a replacement rear sight.
    2. Drift the front sight.
    3. Put on my existing Simmons branded red dot.

    Weeeeee!!!

Beretta Neos windage adjustment screw hard to budge

The windage adjustment screw on my neos was really tight. I'm sharing my experience in the hope it'll help someone. Applied liquid wrench penetrating oil to windage screw; let sit for a few minutes; used precision screw driver with a small 4" vise grip clamped onto handle for better leverage, the blade I used gripped the screw better than the provided multi-tool; press down firmly on screw driver making sure it won't slip and damage the slot and unscrew counter clockwise; the screw has a bright red "material" on the threads, I left it there; the rear sight blade is spring loaded and mine did not slide smoothly in the groove; pushed sight blade to the far left against spring pressure, this is the direction I needed it moved more towards, and held it there; re-inserted screw and tightened; the screw is still pretty tight but at least now I can turn it. Now I need to bring along my tools and head to the range to sight in. I found the blade on the provided multi-tool does not grip the windage adjustment screw securely enough.

I forgot about this thread. The photos were pulled down quite a while back.

This is one of those deals where I love the idea, but don't care for the execution. It's kind of the same way I feel about the Ruger Charger. Had Ruger done this same idea with the 22/45 or MKIII then I think I would buy one. But I guess I'm too much of a stick in the mud.

Nice setup! If I didn't already have a couple of .22 rifles, I might buy the kit for my Neos.
HE thinks, therefore I am! <><
