Seeexxxxxyyyy!!! Much love to Springfield 1911's and I loveeeeee those micro's.
Well, after an arduous search, and quite a few other temptations along the path, I finally scored my other 'first luv'.Equaled only by my irrational desire for the full size PT1911ALR, the Springfield Armory Micro 1911 has finally arrived. While there was some 'low hanging fruit' available, I had to reach higher. I had to have the PC9802LP, the 3" model with light rail (Sorry, olfarhors
). After a couple of FTE wallet, and misfires, I finally scored a used kit on GunBroker. Everything in the box (OWB holster and 2 mags & holder, tools, papers and XML light) as new, along with four extra mags, Galco OWB holster, AND Crimson Trace LG-404 laser grips, along with the stock slabs. While it has been carried, and shows some wear on the safeties, the slide looks barely fired. Considering the MSRPs, and lack of NIB, I think I did OK for $900.

This may become my primary EDC considering how light it is. Thanks to the alloy frame, even with the light attached, it feels like half the weight of the Titan 3".

Congratulations on the score!
and no need for the introduction, I recognize you from the meetings!--1911 addiction sessions!
Apparently they make these things is several formats!
I was looking at one a few days ago, it had GI sights on it, was all steel frame , and was blue?
gently used price was 550 bucks, no extras except the box!--and of course no rail!!-LOL
the same guy took the gun, cera-coated it with a military green frame, Black graphite slide, grip safety, mag release, thumb safety,hammer/trigger, slide release and is now asking 600 bucks for it.
that got me all excited (the addiction thang) and now i am thinking about having him do my PT1911B that way.
He won't take any money for doing it as he says he just loves doing the things and he does excellent work.
I guess i need to look these things up and see what they sale for new?
be interesting to see how recoil is!
PS: are you bringing the doughnuts to the next meeting or should i get them?
Bring the new gun i want to play with it!

LMAO @olfarhors because I'm standing outside of ya'lls meeting place debating if I should dare admit to my addiction yet.

Atta boy, Zylo! Glad to see you get what you wanted. Don't let Olfarhos get it away from you now.

I had a box of doughnuts, but got jacked walking past the LEOs Anger Management/Sensitivity Training class.
Thanks for the support. I know I can count on ya'll whenever I have a relapse.
Glad you mentioned the sights, I almost forgot. This is the 'loaded' model so it came with factory Tritiums that are still bright. I don't see a page to check the serial # on SA's website though. I'd like to know when it was made. Oh well. Had to work today, so no range trip yet, but I did get to play 'dress up' a little bit. Tried the wood grips with SS magwell, then just changed to the SS hex grip screws. One good thing about working night shifts, if I drag my @$$ out in the 105 heat, I can get $5 'happy hour' at the indoor range during the weekdays.Thought the comparison to the Sig P238 was interesting. I don't have a scale, but even loaded it doesn't feel much heavier. This might make the 938 less 'necessary'
, but who am I kidding??
