ANOTHER Trade / 2 Pistols in 5 days!! This time its a 1911
So as some of you might remember, I custom built a Gun locker from an old 7up Vending machine. It turned out really nice, But I have been letting go most of my shotguns , only keeping a couple "High End" ones. So I really didn't need the Gun locker that I built. So I put an Ad on Armslist, This morning and after a few calls, Someone finally made me an offer I couldn't refuse. He offered me my choice of an Spike's ST-15 AR ( AR's are foreign to me, never owned one before) or a Almost brand new Kimber Custom II with two mags, and 100 rounds. Needless to say I went with the Kimber. Two hours later, He showed up with a trailer and I helped him load it up with a huge smile on my face. I can always build another safe, But opportunities for me to buy /own a Kimber are pretty slim. Heres a couple of pics. Just thought I would share. First the 10mm S&W and now the Kimber 1911 , Its been a great 5 days.

That safe was pretty neat, but I agree -- I would have traded it for a top shelf 1911 anyday! Congrats!!!

Anyone think I should have went with the Spikes tactical AR15 (it was the ST15 mid-length model)?

I would have went with th AR but thats just because I have two 1911's already.....Come to think of it I have two AR's also and am in the process of building my third so nevermind what I say, that Kimber is a VERY nice 1911 so congrats.
