Nice report, nice pics, nice shootin'. You do better than me!!
Well, what can I say, I am VERY pleased with the GSG 1911 .22. It completely exceeded my expectations! We enjoyed it so much, that we are certain we must get another one (his and hers). Zero issues with it. Between the two of us, we put 400 rounds through it today. We were shooting the bulk Federal .22 ammo and at the end we had to switch to some CCI .22 because we emptied our Federal box! Only Two failure to fires and that was the ammo, not the gun. We were taking turns shooting it. We have three magazines, so while he was shooting, I was reloading magazines for him, and vise versa. It was extremely accurate, the only problems either of us had was seeing the sites. We realized it was the lighting inside the range area, extremely poor lighting. A bright light shines down on top of your head, but nothing at arms length. It was very uncomfortable for the eyes to try and line up dots you could barely see, However, I think we did pretty good considering. If you're contemplating a .22 and like the feel and look of a 1911, this is the gun for you! It's got the heft of a standard 1911, It's the exact same size as a regular 1911 and the parts are 85% interchangeable. You can generally find them for around $379.The only thing we changed on it was the guide rod and recoil spring. The original guide rod is plastic and other owners highly recommended it. We got ours from CW accessories for $16.00.
Recoil is light, but there is some, and really more than I had expected. The GSG with rail also comes with a fake suppressor. We probably will never use it, but it's kinda neat looking on it. Our next upgrade to it will be a light for the rail. The rail is also removable if you don't like it or decide you wont use it. I highly recommend these for some fun plinking, with the look and feel of a standard 1911.
Jack shooting the GSG 1911 .22
The following two targets are mine, Jack was throwing his away not realizing I wanted to save them. He did just as well, if not better than I was.

Very Nice!! You're already looking for another, the 1911 bug has bitten!!I've heard the 'suppressor' helps with the recoil, as well as accuracy, and follow up shoots.
a.k.a. 2LOGICL. While I do not enjoy the misery of others, I do find comfort in it.
Thanks for the report, glad you liked it. I hope I can get a decent deal on one soon! I have been seeing them in the $350.00 range around here. I have not seen any extra magazines around here, and heard they are around $35.00 each.

Btw, I am ordering one next week with my holiday bonus pay on it for working Memorial Day. Can't wait.
Boy Howdy, that sure is a pretty stock on that Ruger 10/22. I assume Jack took the time to show it off to everyone who would take a look?
Miss Kitty and Jack.. I knew you would like it, I do mine. I had some issues with feeding with some Remington hollow point 40 grain rounds.. but it loved the CCI velocitor 1650 fps and Mini Mag LR fast 32 grain rounds. Since it is alloy metal constructed it is about 8 ounces lighter than my Steel 1911 in 38super..but that helps with the recoil. I did check Buds Gun shop on line in Kentucky...I see them at $323 and also with the supressor for $329. With the rail pictinny mount a small lazer is also fun to play with. I have several nice leather holsters and some nylon.
