And my stevens will be here monday so get ready for those pics and a range report next.
Just came back from the range with my glock 19. I got it used with for a good deal at my lgs last week and it had no wear on it at all not even alittle bit, it maybe had a box through the tube but couldnt have been more than that. I left the house with 200 rounds of remington umc and around 50 of hornady critical defense. No issues of any kind today with the gun but I could tell it was basicly new and hadnt even been broken in yet because my first 100 or so rounds were everywhere. By the time I opened up the third box she was puttin em right at poa at 15 yards and I was happy with that. When I ran the hornady things improved even more, in short this little thing is on nitestand duty and gets the flashlight now. I never did like the plastic guns with no hammer or safety since Im a stubborn 1911 guy but I like this little thing alot and think Im gonna hang onto it. Sorry I dont have pics of the targets but when I ran out of 9mm I pulled the shotgun out and obliterated them all![]()
"The fact is that the average man's love of liberty is nine-tenths imaginary, exactly like his love of sense, justice and truth. Liberty is not a thing for the great masses of men. It is the exclusive possession of a small and disreputable minority, like knowledge, courage and honor. It takes a special sort of man to understand and enjoy liberty – and he is usually an outlaw in democratic societies." –- H.L. Mencken, Baltimore Evening Sun, Feb. 12, 1923

Hard to go wrong there....do you know what generation it is?
Most of the time, you'll never have a failure - ever. They are great guns. Too bad that so many of their owners can be horses asses.Don't turn into a gun snob brother !
When Leonidas was preparing to make his stand, a Persian envoy arrived. The envoy explained to Leonidas the futility of trying to resist the advance of the huge Persian army and demanded that the Spartans lay down their arms. Leonidas told Xerxes "MOLON LABE", or "Come And Get Them."

A Glock 19 is a great all around gun.
Why has the world gone to hell since John Wayne died?
Help save America, have your liberal spayed or neutered.
"If the federal government could control anything, I could probably listen to that gibberish, but when they do such a horrible job in controlling spending, borrowing, controlling illegal drugs and illegal aliens coming into this country while they give AK-47s to Mexican drug lords through Fast and Furious, I don’t see much hope in them even beginning to control guns."
The Glock 19 is one of my favorites. It has never let me down and always goes boom.
Great choice! One of our admins here (NYPD) has IIRC, 225K rounds + through his model 19. Quite a testament to their longevity.

Love my G19. Had it since Nov 2008 (big gun sales that month), put thousands of rounds through it and it has not had a single failure. It was my EDC for a a couple of years until I got my PT740 and G36. G19 is a nightstand and range gun now. Congrats on a great acquisition.
