i had a c9 i had bought used and it was a good gun had a few quirks like the feed ramp and mag needed tweaked but nothing to horrible i ended up replacing it with another 9mm that i liked much better and the wife fell in love with a 24/7 pro c ds so the hi point was sold to fund other objectives
I had heard good and bad about the hi points but after reading all of these positive replies I think I may try one out.

I have a High Point C9. Have put about 800 rounds through it with no problems. Everybody says they are to heavy and big. If you compare it to my Taurus PT640 which is the same size as a PT145 its the exact same size and weight. Its smaller and lighter than my buddies S&W MP. It's a great little inexpensive gun with a lifetime warranty wether you are the original owner or second, third ect.
