Hi-Point 9mm

Well, not every gun is for everyone... My C9s are heavy, maybe clumsy, but I don't use them for CCW. I use them for Home Defense, in my cars, etc. I haven't polished anything or have done anything else to them... But they still handle anything I put in them. I guess the adage, "You get what you pay for..." is apt for them. I'm not buying them to replace my XDm, or any other gun I have. I'm buying them for the cheap, reliable (for me, at least) guns that they are. If something happens, I won't be crying over a $600 gun the police take for evidence...

I agree with Whodog.. But would being specific in a post about a possible scenario with a neighbor be illegal in the very fact something could very well happen? Just curious...

Well MLGD has'em @ 115.00 said he could let it go OTD for 125.00 which is good but now I have the Cobra 45acp ..so my trunk gun is covered....

Nice trunk gun! I wouldn't mind having one of those Cobra .45s!

The Cobra runs great ..after you charge it..its a little difficult .I hear thats with the new also .mine is used and it still hard ..but she eats anything ....

In my opinion a lot of gun "experts" that bash on companies like Taurus and Hi-Point just purely look at the price and say "its so cheap how can it be a reliable weapon" when in fact Taurus and Hi-Point in my opinion are very reliable firearms. A company would not stick "Lifetime Warranty" on a weapon they truly did not believe was going to perform well for a very long time. They would not put a lifetime warranty just to make it seem better because they would lose money instead of make it if they truly made "cheap" firearms. So maybe we should be asking, Where is the warranty for all the big time gun makers? A pistol from Hi-Point for $135 in 9mm and a lifetime warranty, how can you go wrong? if anything does go "wrong" you get it fixed for free! after reading this I think a Hi-Point c9 is going to be my next purchase.

That makes 2 of us! this is by far the best forum out there, and i think you used the right word with "attack" because thats all they do on other forums. they talk down to you like you are worthless, we all have to start somewhere with our knowledge and this forums understand we all aren't perfect.

It has been nice reading all the comments and actually being able to comment on some without all the crap.No matter what you shoot if you are satisfied with it thats all that matters.When the snobs start paying for my guns I'll start listening.

I've never owned a Hi-Point but have only ever heard great things about them. I definitely would like to get both the pistol and carbine in .45 ACP.

It's just too bad the magazines don't interchange between the pistol and the carbine....

Hey guys, I have owned all calibers of Hi-Point and all of them have been great pistols. I carried the C9 all fall and winter in a HP-2 Fobus holster until I could save up some money for something smaller. With a good belt, they are fun to carry and easy to hide with sweatshirts and jackets on. I currently own to C9s and would buy another if the price was right. I have one downstairs and one beside the bed for now. I would like to have 2-3 more of them. I did have to send a JCP40 back to mom one time and they sent me a whole new pistol AND a extra mag and was back in less than 2 weeks. I like em.

4095TS: the receiver is an inch longer than the 995TS, its a bigger and heavier weapon especially with all the accessories on there.
