I wanted to look at the LC9 but couldn't find one anywhere in my area. Picked up the PT709 instead. I bet that is a sweet gun. Let us know how you like it after a couple hundred rounds. Buddy of mine is looking for one.
I've been keeping my eyes out for one of these and found one today. I ran a box of 50 HPs through it without any problems whatsoever. It's larger than the LCP, but very managable.

Shoot Smart, Shoot Straight, Shoot Often
Good on ya! I've seen a couple at the range, and they were great little shooters. They were hard to come by for a while. I especially like the extractor design, it seems good and reliable.
Congrats on the new Ruger.
Nice. And now I want to see a comparison of this gun versus my Keltec PF9 - I'm curious if the dimensions are similar.
Looks like a bigger LCP ! Nice gun MP3.

YouTube - ‪LC9 vs PF9‬‏ Hickok45 does a pretty fair review... I think the LC9 sure wins in the looks dept but really the main thing is how they sling lead and it seems you wouldn't do wrong with ether one.

What's your take on the trigger? I noticed in one of Hickok's videos he mentioned that the sear didn't trip until the trigger was very close to the frame, and he found it somewhat problematic. I've got kind of long fingers too, so I'm curious.

Congrats on your new LC9!
I like the styling of the LCP and am pleased to see they passed the same styling on to the LC9.
Taurus Firearms ~~ Providing Personal & Home Security and Protecting Our Second Amendment Rights
I've thought about getting one but I am pleased with my 709.
After watching Hickok's comparison of the LC9 and the PF9 I keep coming back around to the same conclusion - Taurus pistols are hard to beat. They've got great triggers that break in an ergonomically acceptable place. They don't have a bunch of safety stuff that makes lawyers happy - but could get you killed (most notably the magazine disconnect). They're extremely accurate, and they won't break your bank account. And they're backed up with a lifetime warranty. Ruger makes fine pistols and I've owned my share, but that magazine disconnect really puts me off. I might be able to get used to the trigger break, but I'd definitely have to get rid of the mag disconnect. I'd probably do what Hickok suggested with the loaded chamber indicator too. The LC9 sure is a pretty pistol though.
