    Let's talk poly snubs!

Just want to see what you guys think of the poly snubbys (revolvers), could be any caliber.

Lets say it was going to be a home defense gun that will get a fair amount of range time, maybe carry time as well.

Please choose the ones you own or would like to own. Multiple choice public poll. Choose all that apply.

Let's hear about your favorite. Stories, thoughts, opinions welcome!

    Thanks

From what I hear, Ruger really nailed the trigger on the LCR line.

Yep - even for this ol' geeze-ette - I can handle the trigger on this DAO LCR 327 one handed with one trigger finger - usually I need two index fingers to shoot a revolver !

I know one TA.net patriot who has an LCR and loves it.

I kinda want the .38. Hopefully we will get allot of good feedback in this thread.

I have Protector poly and wife has LCR...Its a toss up for me
Taurus has better front sight...Ruger has better grip.
I cant pry the LCR out of my wifes hands at the range.

    Both good guns.

I think the poly aspect is fine, but I am selling my unfired LCR Ruger in .22 mag. Why? The ballistics just aren't there on a barrel that short. A .327 would be a much better gun.

Buffalo Bore complains that .357 poly revolvers tend to jump crimp with their hottest loads, only because the gun is so light and the cartridge so powerful that the bullets can shake loose under the intense recoil. The .38 Special versions are probably the best way to go. I like my Taurus poly .38. Carry it now and then.

My LCR 22 mag is also history. Decent trigger but accuracy was so ammo sensitive that I decided My Taurus M94 was a better choice...... for me anyway.

He looks a lot like the wolf. He has fangs and the capacity for violence.
The difference, though, is that the sheepdog must not, cannot and will not ever harm the sheep.
