And this is why I wait a year before I consider buying a newly released firearm, no matter who the manufacturer is.

Given its large size for a .380 and reported stoppages from multiple sources, this is an underwhelming product at best. I'd stick to a more mature and proven Ruger LCP or Taurus TCP for a .380. Yes . . . . . . I said a Taurus is more proven than a Glock.

Yep - My family is 3 generations as Ford and Chrysler franchise holders. The first year of a new model - you watch. Early adapters, enter at your own risk!

I'm sorry Glock lovers, I just will not buy your products, because first of all I don't like striker fired weapons and yes that includes you know who. That is just me and I will not change, I'm too old to start over. Hope they get this problem worked out for those who like their brand.

I will duck for cover now!!!

Variety is the spice of life. There are so many guns to enjoy, no one should have a problem finding a good match. At a given point I decided that decockers and SA/DA were no longer my style - sold them and went with what I enjoyed AND shot well. The one exception is my Taurus 709 and the SA/DA pulls are not so radically different at all.

Nearly everything I own (pistol, rifle, shotgun) is semi-auto and black. The occasional brushed stainless slide is in there - it was probably on sale!!!

First few months of a new model is a crap shoot at best, good luck to anyone that bought one. Part of Glocks reputation for reliability is because since the 1980's they have only made slightly different variations of one pistol, make more drastic changes and it may take some time to shake out the bugs.

What's a Glock???? I still am not a Glock fan and not sure if I ever will be. I'll stick with my Colt's, Sig, Kahr & Taurus pistols. All proven makers.
