    Question .40cal + Tannerite?

Hey everyone. I just recently purchased a Taurus Millenium pt140 pro and love it! I also just signed up for an account on here because I figured whenever i need tips or have questions I figured this would be the place to go. But here's the question if i were to purchase Tannerite would I be able to set it off with my pt140?

Probably not. Most tannerite targets that I see are only set off by high velocity rounds. That being said I believe there are some low velocity reactive targets for sale out there. I'm not sure how well they would work or that they would be as safe as the tannerite targets have proven themselves to be for me (i.e. won't burn the half of state down if set off in a field).

Yes you can, on FPSRussian (youtuber) He really likes Tannerite and was talking about how there are two different types, one that goes off with low energy (ie handgun rounds) and one that needs high energy (ie Rifle rounds) The .40 would have more than enough power for the low energy as I think he was using a .45 ACP to set them off.

Ok, you need to stop that. I'm trying to save money, not spend even more than I already do on things that go BOOM<g>

Ummm - just spent 30 minutes watching the Russian (new to me) - the guy has backing and sponsors for sure (and You Tube income) his Tannerite bill is sky high and access to multiple full auto AA12s - wow - just wow!
