    Pt111????

Sure seems to be a lot of new members who picked up PT111's. Makes me think I should get one myself. Will the PT111 fit the same holster as my PT145? Come on folks. convence me I need a PT111. I know MOONDAWG is a PT guru. Any good reasons will be well taken. Thanks.

While I am on the hunt for better holster for my PT145 & PT111, they share the 2 budget holsters I have interchangebly. There's a gun show this weekend and I hope to pick up couple of holsters and maybe a new friend for the PT's!!!

Simply put... get a PT111, you will save $ by not having to buy a holster and after about 3000-4000 rounds it will pay for itself because 9m is so much cheaper than .45 ammo

Been called a lot of names in my life, but never a "Guru".

All the leather holsters I have for my .45 ACP PT145 also work well with my 9mm PT111.

    Pros about the 9mm PT111...

    1. 100% reliable
    2. Accurate
    3. compact
    4. light weight
    5. 12+ 1 mag capacity
    6. time proven caliber

Yep, you need a PT111. If I don't already have the 24/7 C 9mm, I would have bought the PT111 the last time Bud's had it on sale for $310 or so. I don't know if the PT111 & the PT145 can share the same holsters because the PT111 doesn't have the accessory rail like the PT145. Anyway, I might get the PT111 in the future if I can find 1 at good price.

Edit: MOONDAWG said they can share the same holsters so I believe they can.

    P.S.

    7. The price is right!

Shop around and you can find new ones for $310-$350 and used ones as low as $250.

Just picked up my new PT111 yesterday.
If it proves to be as accurate as my PT745 I'll be the happiest camper in the forest.
