    New G2 owner

Just had my first range day with my new G2. 100 WWB. 3 ftf.( good thing that stuff is cheap!) 100 Blazer aluminum rounds, no issues. So 200 rounds in no problems with the gun. Beginning to see how to hold and aim. Able to keep a 4-5 inch pattern firing fairly fast. Can keep that down to 2-3 inches if I slow down a bit. This at 10 yards. These old eyes don't help either.
Going next week to run more ammo through it, breaking both of us in!

Glad to hear its running good for you.

Mine has been great for me. I've done all kinds of things to try to get this pistol to jam / misfire...it just will not do it.

Lots of good info here concerning upgrades etc - if you're not sure about something - just ask. Lots of helpful folks around these parts. I'm not one of them - just saying lots of folks are HAHA

I have the stainless slide model. I have 1600+ rounds thru mine - still looks new inside and out.

Do you plan to carry yours?

My best suggestion for the aim is that point of impact is directly behind the front dot. It's been a pretty consistent thing with all my Taurus pistols, including my 140 G2.

I agree. Move closer and when your accuracy improves you can move the target out.

Went back to the range today, put another 100 rounds down range. Only change , I added a Lakeline SS guide rod and springs. A noticeable difference in felt recoil, I think. Next range trip I will take the new one and the original one for a direct comparison. Also painted the sights, Front orange, rear green. I 'll be interested if they look as good on the range as in the house.
Thanks for the replies and advice. Will report on next range adventure.
