I took one of my old bicycle tire interior and trimmed it to fit on my PT111 MilPro, PT140 MilPro and PT145 Pro. What can I say, I'm cheap!![]()
Thanks again for the suggestions and helpful guides on installing these suckers.
Now I just need to convince the wife I need more gun stuff, hehe.
Christmas is coming but it's all about the kids now.

FREEDOM IS NOT FREE! Don't ever take it forgranted!
Cheap is good when it recycles/reuses materials. I will always try to fix or reuse equipment/tools/appliances whenever possible and feasible.
"Do not blame Caesar, blame the people of Rome who have so enthusiastically acclaimed and adored him and rejoiced in their loss of freedom and danced in his path and given him triumphal processions. Blame the people who hail him when he speaks in the Forum of the new wonderful good society which shall now be Rome's, interpreted to mean more money, more ease, more security, and more living fatly at the expense of the industrious." -- Marcus Tullius Cicero
How about a layer of Coban?
A lot of guys use it on their M16/M4 over here.

Ok, I said "a lot"...more like, I've seen a few guys do it. It's cheap and effective. And comes off easily with no sticky residue when you're down with it.

I have Pachmayrs on my 145. No problems getting it on.
Children, pets, and slaves get taken care of. Free Men take care of themselves.
Stock up on ammo. We'll have to save ourselves from those who want to save the world.

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. .... with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship."
Go to Walmart. Buy a $4 bike inner tube that I think was 1 3/8" diameter. rough cut it to size with a scissors. Heat it up for a few seconds in water, in a microwave. Turn it inside out and work it on. Finish the fit with an exacto knife. If some of it covers the mag release, it won't effect it at all. And if you screw it up, you'll have 20 more chances to get it right. And you'll have a bunch left over to put on your other pistols. Feels great, looks good.
Or stop at a bicycle shop, they probably have some in their trash, spend the $4 on ammo, powder, primers or lead.Originally Posted by tomwalshco

Haha. All great suggestions, I've actually tried using inner tube overgrips before.
My only gripe, I live in a fairly tropical place, and they seem to get slippery really fast compared to Hogue rubber which seems to get more sticky with sweat.
Kinda like the 'unobtainium' rubber found on Oakley sunglass stems.

I have a set of traction grips on mine (www.tractiongrips.com) that are nice. I remember seeing a youtube stating that you can get an airsoft 24/7 from walmart and use the slip on rubber grip from that.
