    Man. I can't win with my G2.

After about 800 problem free rounds thought everything was good. Was at the range today and about 8 FTE out of 100 rounds using 3 different Taurus magazines and blazer brass. This gun is driving me crazy. Any thoughts?

I just saw a video on YouTube. The Shooter had a problem with the recoil spring. was not staying flat with the recoil rod and jamming the slide. Let me see if I can find that link.

Could be the recoil spring assembly, extractor, ejector...a better description of the FTE will help narrow things down...is it a stove pipe? Is it stuck in chamber? Is the slide jamming up?

Could also be an ammo issue, but I doubt it. I've heard of problems with Blazer aluminum, but I've shot hundreds of rounds of Blazer Brass through mine without any issues.

It was working fine - then suddenly not...

    Are you using different ammo?

Same ammo. Failure to extract. I had same problem 800 rounds ago. I polished feed ramp and chamber removed extractor and cleaned . Checked guide rod looks good.
    Stumped.

look real close at The Recoil spring to see if it's got any nick's on it. If it's sprung above the guide rod. the video I mentioned does a real good examination of The Recoil spring. It's a short video.

Watched video . Spring is in good shape. Ends are flattened and not overlapping in anyway.

Fired casing not ejecting staying in chamber causing a double feed.
