Do you know the member j3hill? You commented strongly on a post of his about the gun control trouble in IL. He has made other remarks that are counter productive concerning national gun issues taking the approach that we all "know" that the AWB is a done deal etc. he's been on the forum longer than me and I'm not one to step on the 1st ammendment but a group does have the right to regulate and curate their own forum without limiting his right to speak freely. IMHO his remarks run against the spirit of the TA forum, it's goals and standards in supporting shooters and their rights at a critical time. I submit that I have no confidence that he has a positive interest in the forum or the positive future of shooters rights.

It sure sounds like the magazine - specifically the follower or the spring.....first thing I would do is clean it. There is a sticky in Smithing on this for these mags. Second, if you are using a 45acp like I was, you may consider calling Taurus and telling them of the problem, and sending them one mag at a time back for replacement. There were a number of magazines made initially for these 24/7 Pro 45's that were built incorrectly. This is what brought me to this forum in the first place. I ended up sending them both mags (I had bought two more that functioned perfectly - another clue) and when I got the new ones back, the issue was resolved.

I'm not sure I'm doing this correctly, but here go's.
I seen your 24/7 Pro 45 ACP that you were showing on (Show Your 24/7) and it is exacltly like mine. Now I'm refering to the 24/7 Pro. No ds or compact, just a 4" Pro. The reason I'm contacting you is that lately at the range my handgun is not totally chambering the last round. Does not take much to pull slide back a little & chamber and then fire. Does not do it all the time, but at least 6 times or so in a box of 50. I normally shoot 5 rounds at a time in the magazines. Have had the gun 3 years & 1000 rounds thru it. I have the 2nd generation mags. I was wondering if yours did the same thing & maybe you have some thoughts for me. I posted this situation awhile ago & really did not get a good solution. Hope you have some suggestions. Thanks Ceci.
