I don't know if I'm sending this correctly or not, but I really like my Rossi 971. Great sights, a nice even trigger pull - even in double action - and the single action is a delight. I love the grip, even more so than the Taurus rubber grip or the Smith wooden grip. I liked the gun right away. My brother-in-law, who owns only Smiths, Rugers or Colts - gave it a surprising thumbs up, though he would never admit it to anyone but me. I have the 4 inch barrel. I wouldn't mind owning a 3-inch also, but economics state otherwise. You can contact me at bmike23@comcast.net .

I am guessing that you are a CMSgt by the looks of your avitar. I am a TSgt stationed at Charleston AFB and a Port Dawg.

    Hello Lee:

Thanks for checking up on me. I have a couple of appointments at VAMC tomorrow, and plan to drive myself and give my poor wife a break. One appointment is at 1100 hours and the other one is at 1330 hours, so it will be a fairly long process.

I'm still in the wheelchair, but I have enough upper body strength to load and unload the chair by myself, so there is definitely improvement.

Regarding the Altamont grips, they were "plug and play".

It's good to hear from you!

I'm having the same problem and if one goes to another window one can tossed out then as well.

Go ahead to the "Web Site Developement" board and tell them about it there so the admins see it there.
