I am a long time competitive shooter. In 1967 I shot in the National Collegiate Rifle Championships at the Naval Academy. I have varsity letters in riflery from high school and college. I have a graduate education and have been in law enforcement and education for many years. I am currently a deputy sheriff, working in the training division, am sometimes assigned to work cybercrime cases. I have been teaching college classes, sheriff's academy, corrections academy, and academic classes for many years.
Married for almost 40 years, 4 adult daughters (2 in Texas, 1 each in Georgia and Missouri), 3 grand daughters.
Since parents like to brag about their kids (and others don't like to listen!), combined my 4 daughters have 2 Ph.D.'s, a law degree, 3 master's degrees, and 4 bachelor's degrees.
My youngest daughter is also a graduate of the North Central Texas Regional Police Academy, had a Master's in Criminology, and was with a state police agency for several years.
