ask only questions that we like to answer

I though this is where you can come to ask other Taurus owners a question or just find out something you were wondering about.
It seems like (to me anyway) judging by some answers I read on other post and my own,if some of you don't cotton to the question being asked,or some don't read the whole post, I fell like you get brushed aside as a nut or a novice not worth talking to.I think if someone is not a die hard shooter like my self they will get turned off to shooting not because of their gun skills ,but gun guys are a tight click you have to be borne into.
Me I've been shooting too long to let a couple computer geeks typing trash out. This is why I do not go on line often, and rather talk to gun guys at the range face to face. Just not many OSS owners at the range I go to in philly, every one has a Glock. Any way I will still check in and see what is up. If you let me? I know their are some GREAT Guys and Girls here.
Boy I miss Cimarron what a class act and knew what he was talking about, GOD Bless

Joe, I am relatively new here. I didn't know Cimarron, wish I did, but I have found a bunch of men and women here that are class acts.

They and you don't have to agree with each other, that's for sure. But the sharing of useful information and intelligent opinion is something that I think you can find here rather easily.

Look forward to seeing you participate more.

I was going to post a reply, but I didn't care for the topic. Seriously, though, this site is a lot more civil than most other gun sights you'll find. Generally we jump all over noob questions, but this is a very active forum. Which means you have to be watching the posts close or they'll scroll to the next page before you get to them. Probably got more to do with technology than snobbery. Unless it was a REALLY dumb question. Joking! I'm joking again!

I have been on many sites where there are definite "clicks" among the members. I haven't been a member of this site for very long, but I
sure haven't seen that here. There are many extremely knowledgeable people that regularly post here, who are more than willing to help
their fellow gun owner, regardless of their skill level. This is without a doubt, one of the most fun, helpful, friendliest forums I have been
    a member of.

From what Ive seen on here, if there is any snobbery it is just the way it comes out. It isnt meant as being that way but when typed instead of spoken it seems like you are getting jumped on. I have been here for a while and the mods do not let this occur. I have asked some dumb questions before and not felt criticized.

I was going to jump in here and do something funny...well to me anyway...but...having been criticized for a post I made I am going to cool it for a post or 2 am a Brigadier General!
But this forum is friendly and informative and helpful to newbies. I have never seen a post that has said anything like: "Well that a dumb question"

I'll be honest and very pointed with my answer. I read the post as soon as it was listed. But, it took me so long to read, then re-read, try to find where I had left off, then start over that I had a headache by the time I got to the end of the posting, statement or whatever it was meant to be. With out any line breaks, spaces, punctuation marks or capital letters used with any rhyme or reason....I flat have a problem reading it. And having old eyes don't help.

I for one find the folks here to be top notch. Don't always agree with their views or what they say. But, I sure appreciate their taking the time to share them with me. I can't help it if they are wrong, whenever our views don't match. But, I know that at some point they will come around and see it my way......LOL!!! I feel I have learned a lot from the members here, and can only hope that I have shared a little.
    Thanks to all,
    Jon

I have posted many threads that I thought were interesting without a single reply. That's the way the real world works. Not everything I think is interesting is interesting to anyone else. Anyway a belated (since you joined in 2010)....
